E-commerce redesign

Printing Nest

Santa Ana, California

Where they started

A slideshow homepage with a banner apologizing that "SHOP NOW will be available soon." Customers couldn't order anything online, so every job started with a phone call or an email.

What we did

We built a full print store: product search, categories from business cards and signs to packaging and direct mail, customer and reseller accounts, online checkout and quote requests. A second store lets customers design their own promotional products online.

  • +100%revenue since the new website launched
  • 1.3M+products available to order online

New business website

LA Vision Windows & Doors

Santa Ana, California

Where they started

A brand-new installation company with no website at all, relying on word of mouth while competitors showed up first on Google.

What we did

We designed their first website around how homeowners buy: large project photography, service pages for windows and doors, and "Call Us" and "Get Free Estimate" buttons on every page.

  • +65%more quote requests

Redesign + 3 sites merged into 1

Canadian Association of Black Journalists

National, Canada

Where they started

Three separate, dated websites. The main one still led with news of a 2011 board election, and members had to jump between sites to find events, membership and programs.

What we did

We merged all three into one modern site for CABJ's 30th anniversary: membership, events, the Media Startup Bootcamp, the National Online Conference, resources, an impact page and donations, with a newsletter sign-up and contact form on every page.

  • 2×more membership sign-ups
  • 3 → 1websites combined into one
  • 39 → 14pages, cut to what members actually use

Clinic redesign

The Health First Group

Mississauga & Etobicoke, Ontario

Where they started

A text-heavy homepage with stock photos and a 2015 award badge. Patients had to read paragraphs to find a service, and there was no clear way to book either clinic.

What we did

We redesigned the site around booking: "Book Heartland" and "Book Etobicoke" buttons in the header, service and team pages for each clinic, a payment options page and real treatment photography.

  • +50%more booking requests

Association redesign

Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance

Ontario

Where they started

A busy patterned header, a row of social icons and 2015 news on the front page. Years of publications, committees and events were hard to find.

What we did

We rebuilt the site around what members look for: best practices, training, Dig Safe meetings, the Damage Prevention Symposium and other events, a searchable member directory and members-only content, with sponsor placements built into the layout.

  • +75%event registrations and sponsorships
  • 17publications organized in one library
  • 526listings in the member directory

Redesign

Kenco Machinery Movers & Millwrights

Mississauga, Ontario

Where they started

A boxy, table-style layout with small cropped photos, cut-off service descriptions and a fax number in the header.

What we did

We redesigned the site with a full-width fleet photo, a clean menu, and "Call Us" and "Request An Estimate" buttons in the header, so a quote is one click away on every page.

  • +91%more estimate requests

New e-commerce store

Puramed

Canada

Where they started

A natural health brand selling supplements, homeopathic remedies and skin care, with no online store. Customers and practitioners had no way to order online.

What we did

We built their store from scratch on WooCommerce, with shopping by brand and by health condition, customer accounts with a 10% sign-up discount, a separate practitioner sign-up with professional resources, free-shipping thresholds, and card and PayPal checkout.

  • 2ways to shop: by brand or by health condition
  • 10%sign-up discount that turns visitors into accounts

Rebuild + speed

Help My SEO

Mississauga, Ontario

Where they started

An older WordPress site built on a heavy page builder that loaded slowly on phones, scoring 74 on Google's mobile PageSpeed test.

What we did

We rebuilt it on a lightweight theme, optimized every image and removed scripts the pages didn't need, then redesigned the homepage around a proposal form.

  • 74 → 93Google mobile PageSpeed score
  • 91desktop PageSpeed score
